Do you have a favorite fairytale?
This is actually a super difficult question. I suppose yes, and it was actually an original that was written on here about a princess who wants to be a mermaid and ends up becoming a sea witch. That’s not a fairytale in the sense of it has a moral base or anything, but I thought it was a fantastically simple story that was told well and an interesting look at how one finds oneself.
The difficult part of this is that it’s hard for me to disassociate Disney versions of stories from the real ones. So like, Tangled and Frozen are two of my favorites, but they’re so far removed from the source material that I can’t say it’s even close enough to be my choice. The happiest middle grounds would be Beauty and the Beast, which I always favored, and Sleeping Beauty because I love the Disney interpretation.

Dressing up is like masturbation, I do it for myself and if it turns you on, that’s fine, but this is for me and you’re not invited.
